Mark Eyers is Turner's chief content officer and senior vice president for kids networks, Asia Pacific. Responsible for all aspects of Turner’s kids content business, Eyers oversees the acquisitions, original production, digital, creative services and programming teams for Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Toonami and POGO across Asia Pacific.
His mandate is to strengthen the planning process for Turner’s kids brands, identifying and developing fresh animation talent on local, regional and international level as well as opportunities to further develop and distribute hit properties and content franchises across the company’s multiple platforms – TV, web and mobile. He is also accountable for spearheading new channel development across the region.
Eyers first joined Turner’s creative services team in 2004 and was previously vice president of content. In this capacity, he was responsible for the implementation of a unified programming vision across all Turner brands by integrating the original production and development unit within the programming division.
Eyers previously held positions at Walt Disney Television International in Singapore, as well as Channel 7 in Brisbane, Australia.
A graduate from the Queensland College of Art in Australia, he holds a bachelor’s degree in arts, film and TV production.
