Luis Esparza is Vice President of technology and operations for Turner Latin America and Strategic International Systems. He leads media and broadcasting operations for more than 40 on-air feeds, engineering, IT development, and non-linear technologies including digital ad sales systems for Turner Europe and Asia Pacific.
Esparza started his Turner career in 1998 as an IT Support Specialist at the Company’s Mexico office. In 2000 he moved to Atlanta to assume the role of Webmaster for Cartoon Network and TNT Latin America. He later took on increasing responsibilities across digital media, telecommunications and broadcasting. In 2011, he was appointed vice president of technology and operations for Turner Latin America and relocated to Buenos Aires. After five years, corporate brought Luis back to Turner headquarters in Atlanta to assume his current position.
Esparza is an electronic systems engineer and has a master's degree in IT administration; both degrees are from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He reports to Rick Cole, senior vice president of international operations and technology and to Whit Richardson, president of Turner Latin America.
